Last updated: 2025-03-01
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing portal-chat.digital or enrolling in programs operated by PortalChat Digital Academy ("we", "us"), you agree to these General Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of our website and services.
2. Services Description
We provide mentor-led IT courses, workshops, and related educational materials. Course descriptions, schedules, and pricing on the website are informational. Enrollment is confirmed only after written acceptance and payment instructions are completed per our admissions process.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate registration information, maintain credential confidentiality, and use learning platforms only for lawful educational purposes. Harassment of mentors, staff, or other learners may result in removal without refund where permitted by law.
4. Intellectual Property
Course materials, labs, templates, and branding remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal learning during enrollment. Redistribution, resale, or public posting of materials without written consent is prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or courses. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the event.
6. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty days, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of Gwangju Metropolitan City, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for conduct that disrupts cohort learning. You may withdraw from a course according to our Refund & Cancellation policy. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (IP, liability limits, governing law) remain in effect.
8. Modifications
We may update these Terms with a revised "last updated" date. Material changes affecting enrolled learners will be communicated by email when practicable. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.
